Nicholas Simonelli

Nick Simonelli is a performance coach at The Power House. From a young age, Nick was fascinated by the complexities of the human body and how it adapts to stress. This passion led him to pursue a Master's Degree in Applied Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota and obtain multiple strength and conditioning certifications. Nick’s education has given him a unique perspective that helps his teams and clients move well and perform better. No matter the goal, Nick creates a detailed plan to get his clients where they want to be. To Nick, winning your life means chasing the things that energize him, all while making the people around him better. When Nick isn't coaching or doing single leg Romanian deadlifts, he is drinking coffee, relaxing outdoors or playing ultimate Frisbee.

Josh Gray

Josh Gray is a performance coach at The Power House. Josh has been an athlete his entire life and got into coaching while training with owner and head coach, Max Lipset. Josh is a firm believer in “Kaizen”, or constant improvement, and seeks to help people become the best version of themselves. Josh also developed a passion for coaching through injury, and because of this, Josh specializes in working with injured athletes. To Josh, winning your life means always improving even if life doesn’t go as planned. He believes everything happens for a reason and that he can always learn from his experiences. When Josh isn’t at work or working on his Olympic lifts, he is playing basketball and golf … if the weather cooperates, that is.

Logan U'u

Logan U’u is a performance coach at The Power House. Logan got into coaching through owner and head coach, Max Lipset. In his words, he helped Max with a small group training session one day, and hasn’t turned back since. Logan is without a doubt the gym’s humble warrior, and he finds fulfillment in helping others. His creativity and mindfulness allows him to craft spot-on programs that best fit his clients, and his genuine character keeps them coming back. To Logan, winning your life means confronting fears and insecurities, and learning to rise above them. When Logan isn’t breathing or in savasana, he enjoys spending time in silence, going for walks around his neighborhood and observing plant life -- he just loves how the seasons change.

Max Lipset

Max Lipset is the owner and head coach at The Power House. Max has always been interested in the human body. In fact, he was planning on going to medical school until he started coaching strength and conditioning as an undergraduate student. This exposure and experience helped him recognize the potential he had to improve people’s health, all while focusing on their fitness goals. Max’s background allows him to bring science to the forefront of strength and conditioning, and lets him customize every session with his robust clientele. To Max, winning your life means redefining goals to experience balance, challenge, progress and flow, and helping others win their life as well! When Max isn't working or doing double unders and kipping pull-ups, he is spending time with his two daughters, wife and dog, playing and coaching soccer and coming together with other coaches and athletes from the gym.
