Meet the SPA Interns!

This year we have two St. Paul Academy students joining us for the month of May to learn more about the ins and outs of running a small business! They've linked up with our team because they are both interested in one day owning and running a small business themselves. Learn more about Riley Bowman and Spencer Evert:

Name: Riley Bowman
Favorite sport: Hockey and Baseball
Why did you choose to your senior project with The Power House: I wanted to get exposure to the business operations of a small business.
What has your favorite project been thus far: Analyzing the products in a spreadsheet. With this we were able to see how much of each product is being sold. The goal of this was to get a better understanding of the revenue from staff and customers.
What’s the best part about working at The Power House: Being in a positive and fun environment while learning about business operations.
What are your plans for after graduation: I plan to attend Gustavus and play baseball there.
Best piece of advice/words to live by: If you are traveling down the wrong path, you must first go back to where you went wrong before you can start heading in the right direction.

Name: Spencer Evert
Favorite sport: Soccer
Why did you choose to your senior project with The Power House: Familiar environment while still working with what I wanted to (running a small business)
What has your favorite project been thus far: Analyzing/categorizing product sale information
What’s the best part about working at The Power House: working with all the amazing, enthusiastic staff. Learning all the ins and outs of running a small business.
What are your plans for after graduation: Attend Northeastern University to study engineering
Best piece of advice/words to live by: It's what you do in the dark that puts you in the light
