HEALTH COACHING

Health coaching is a transformational process that facilitates healthy, sustainable behavior change by challenging a client to listen to their inner wisdom, identify their values, and transform their goals into action. The health coaching process is unique to each individual, and draws from the principles of positive psychology and the practices of motivational interviewing and goal setting. As a newly emerging integrative health field that is cooperative rather than directive, health coaching helps establish attainable goals and remove barriers.

The following are some topics that clients seek health coaching for:

• Stress Management

• Plateaus in training

• Relationships with Food

• Recovery from an injury or illness

• Dealing with a recent diagnosis

• Work/School/Life balance

• "I'm in a Rut" syndrome

• Goal-setting

• Life Transitions

• Defining Your Life Purpose

• "The Mental Side of CrossFit"'

• Teamwork and Communication

Our health coaching packages with our certified health coach, Jill Stein Lipset, will allow you to discover your best self and dig deeply into long term goal setting and the realization of those goals. It is an excellent compliment to our physical training, and will balance the mental, emotional, spiritual, and social aspects of your health.

Health coaching services are offered one-on-one with clients, or within a team setting to work on group goal-setting and teambuilding. Jill holds an M.Ed in Youth Development Leadership and a Graduate Certificate in Health Coaching from the University of Minnesota and loves working with young people, adults, families, teams, and business organizations.

Reiki Energy Healing

Jill also performs Reiki energy work, having received her Level I and Level II Reiki training at the University of Minnesota. She initially sought out the modality when looking for ways to comfort her dad while he received chemotherapy treatment. The Reiki work proved to be a powerful tool for easing pain, and calming the mind and body. She has since used Reiki as a tool to treat injuries, provide post-operative healing, decrease stress, and teach others about the mind-body connection.

Reiki sessions can be incorporated into Health Coaching sessions, or can be done as stand alone treatments.
